Flashback picture

Inspired by Christiana's post of a picture of herself when she was child, I decided to dig out my own advertising picture from when I was a youngin but mine is not as innocent as a can of Coke.
Why ya girl got not one but two packs of cigarettes! And knowing my peoples they probably told me to get them......lazy ass people run you as soon as you can walk LOL!!! I was probably about 2 in this picture.

Earrings display

Hey everyone longtime no see I know but I 'm working on a few things right now to hopefully have up for you shortly. Kia (aka Yummy 411) had asked about my earring display that was in the background of my last FOTD . I also made a video about it sooooooooooo enjoy!

Last Saturday FOTD

Here's a purple smokey eye I did on Saturday. These are pictures after being gone all damn day so excuse me if I look crazy. I went to the Baltimore Natural Hair expo for a minute only thanks to Brooklyn and then I took the kids to DC to visit their auntie and cousin and from there we went to Fun Planet. I didn't get back in until 11pm so that is when those pics was taken. This was a simple look that consisted of MAC 's Rubenesque paint pot all over, Nice Vice Paint Pot on lid and NYX black shadow in crease.

I cheated y'all out of a random fact

So it is official that I can not follow directions! I left out a fact on my last tagged post so to make it up to you guys you get not only a random fact about me, no you get a whole random story! Aren't y'all excited :D Put up your feet and put on a cup of coffee, cocoa, ice tea, Hennessy, or what ever your favorite beverage is cause this is a long and funny one.
So here goes:
When I was 9 I lived in one of those high rise buildings similar to what they have in Brooklyn New York except this is BMore of course so they are not as big as NY's, maybe only 11-15 floors at the most. I lived on the 10th floor by the way(geez we are already at 2 random facts and I haven't even got into the meat yet LOL) Anywhoooo I was playing on the terrace one day with this little boy that we will call Ole Boy just because it's my story and I feel like being silly. Here I am enjoying being outside because my mom was very protective and she hardly let me outside to play like I was some Hunchback of Notre Dame or something. So I got my big 9 year old behind on a lil plastic smurf bike that is meant for a 1 year old I'm sure. I was pretty skinny at the time but still that was dumb as hell. I'm just a scooting away when I lean to far forward.

It would not have been too bad but I did a lil slide with it.
I get up not in any pain but my face kind of burns a little bit so I ask Ole Boy :
"What does my face look like?"
Ole Boy looks at me like my head is spinning around like the fucking exorcist or something, and all he says is:
"It's red"
"Like bleeding?"
"No, just red"
Shoot what does that mean? I don't want to go in the house because I know if my momma sees me hurt then may be the last time I get to see outside except for school. It was so bad one time I got my finger jammed in gym class playing basket ball, my mother wrote a note and I had to sit on the bleachers for the rest of the school year! Can you believe that? So since I'm not hurting I try to enjoy outside a little more, but Ole Boy just kept looking at me like my face is about to blow up or something, so curiosity got the best of me and I go inside for a peak.
LAWD HAVE MERCY ON MY SOUL!
I bust out crying instantly!
I had peeled the top layer of skin off half my face from my eyebrow to my chin. I looked like the phantom of the opera without the mask. And by the way tears hurt like hell when half your damn skin is gone.
But obviously I recovered, and actually there are no scars left.
I wasn't so lucky in the lingering scar department with my run ins with:
a shopping cart
a fence
a piece of metal sticking out of the wall
or the bathroom toilet.
Maybe one day when I'm bored again I will tell you those stories. They are all equally funny except for the fence one, that's a pretty standard issue fall involving running in dress shoes so not much to tell there.

A lot of makeup related tagging has been going around lately but today I was tagged by Queenli to share 6 random facts or quirks. I like random!

1) I don't like to have water on my face. I do not wash my face in the shower, nor does my head get wet unless I am washing my hair. I think it has more to do with water getting in my eyes because I can't just wipe water from my eyes with a wet hand like you see on tv. I'm immediately groping for a towel after I wash my face in the sink.

2)To go along with number 1 I can not swim. I tried to get the girls to swim by taking them to classes at the YMCA, but of course they acted like a bunch of fools(crying and not wanting to jump in the water when the instructor told them to) and didn't learn a damn thing and we haven't been back. But of course they swear they are swimming in the tub. So much for trying to help your children be better then yourself.

3)I don't like to eat foods that make your hands messy like stuff with barbecue sauce on it for example. I really don't like being messy in general but I was blessed with children that would dig a hole to the earth's core in my backyard if I would let them. They want to walk in the dirt instead of the sidewalk and they must step in every puddle regardless of how much I yell that their shoes are suede.

4) I'm the youngest of my mothers children, but my dad's only child. Spoiled huh?

5) Vanilla ice cream, Cheerios, and chocolate syrup is the bomb dot com. You should try it sometime. :)

I just thought of something funny and random. Imagine that we all meet one day and I say 'hey Clumps what do you think about the neosci-fi collection', or 'Yummy and makeupfix get closer for the picture' LOL! Don't ask me why that made me chuckle just now.
OHHHHH my cousin got me good for Aprils fools!
She's one of my myspace friends and she changed her profile to say "so what I'm pregnant with his baby" LAWD have mercy was I like WTF! She's 19 and at NC A&T so I was like awwwwwww man. I mean I had Madisyn when I was 19 but you know you always want so much more for the youngins. Anywhooo I sent her a comment and she was like naw if was her April's fools joke. I had completely forgot all about it being April Fools Day. Whewwwwww
