Just a little update

Hey gang!
Thanks for all the comments and feedback I have been getting lately! It really inspires me to update this think pad more.

Now if only I can get around to doing youtube videos again….

This will be long but I promise to entertain you somewhat. :)
I will hopefully get to do a post highlighting the Milani Quads that I have and showing all of them in pictures and swatches this evening. I left my camera over the auntie’s house on Saturday and I just got it back Monday evening thus the reason for no pics.
Also yesterday I started feeling like crap! I really do not want to bring in the New Year sick!!! I’m hanging in there alright but I kind of feel the weakness in my eyes if that makes any sense. Does anybody else have an ole skool person in their life that says ‘you look a little peaked’? I think it kind of shows in the FOTD’s I took this morning.
*EDIT* Why is everyone saying I look nice today when I feel like I look like shit warmed over? Must be the Nars Orgasm blush…….
On Saturday I wore the Milani Sedona Sunset and Monday and today I wore the famous Dream Baby quad. I love that thing!!! Unfortunately mine is cracked like the pavement in BMore (actually Shelia is working on that isn’t she), but my favorite two colors are intact. I tried to hunt one down at my local CVS so that I could have a backup, but I haven’t been able to find one yet.

Question/Answer time!
I was asked in the shout box about what I wash my hair with and the answer is still whatever is in the house. Uhhhhh Friday night it was Le Suave shampoo in the delectable sent sensation of the mild cucumber and fruity overtones of the melon. LOL!
At this point of my loced hair’s life I really don’t feel like products make any difference in how it looks or feels other than if it sucks as a twisting agent then my retwists will come undone sooner. I was chatting with Amina about shampoo soaps because it just appeals to me, but I don’t feel like my hair needs anything in particular. They seem soft to me even though I only put conditioner in them once in a while. The only thing I can say is that I may go back to brushing my locs again with a soft brush and only finger twist the new growth. I have been palm rolling maybe the first 5 or so inches from the scalp her lately and I feel like my locs are not a luscious and plump as they wore before. They are becoming more condensed and less chunky, which a lot of people prefer actually, but I like my chunky locs. Maybe it’s seeing all the fluffy new locs that have been cropping up lately. I tell you ladies…..enjoy your fuzz!!!!!!!! Please for me mmkay?

Did I like the Dermablend? How did it feel?
Well I have never been a full coverage foundation kind of girl so it didn’t feel bad, but that kind of perfection just isn’t for me. Photo shoots yes, everyday no. But this is coming from somebody who really doesn’t wear foundation anyway. When I break out the MAC Studio Tech I’m always diluting it with lotion. I only do one layer when I apply mineral makeup. The Dermablend did not feel heavy and I didn’t get that funny ‘stuff is crawling on my face’ feeling I get with MAC liquids and some other mineral companies. I am in the market for a good primer however, and I’m thinking about getting MAC’s blot powder. I ordered a sample of sericite mica from Buff’d so that maybe able to take the place of the blot powder but I like that blot powder can travel with me though. I have smashbox and monistat for primers but I don’t like how my they make my face feels and I think they make me breakout. Maybe my face cream is too heavy underneath it…..just bouncing some ideas off.

Amina had asked about my earrings and most of them I get from ebay or this thrift shop/accessories shop called Blessed Treasures of the Earth (really cool people by the way) in my area.

Hmph look at all this I have wrote….I need to draft more posts at work LOL!

I typed a response and it disappeared. Dermablend looked nice on you but I think I like the way Buff'd looks on you better. I'm over monistat as a primer. I tried Smashbox and Bare Minerals primers and I think my makeup looked better with them.
